The AFC beat the NFC, 41-34, in the Pro Bowl Sunday night. It was the first time the all-star contest was played before the Super Bowl. The game was played in Miami, Florida in a one-year experiement. It had called Honolulu home since 1980.

Garrett Hartley's 40-yard field goal in overtime gave the Saints a 31-28 win over the Vikings in the NFC championship game Sunday. The Saints will play in the Super bowl for the first time in their 43-year history.

The Cardinals haven't won an NFL championship in decades. In 1947, they were the Chicago Cardinals and beat the Philadelphia Eagles at the original Comiskey Park.

Philadelphia may be gripped by a cold-snap, but its football fans have their eyes on sunny Arizona and Sunday's NFC championship game between the Eagles and the Arizona Cardinals.

Philadelphia and Arizona are playing for the right to advance to the Super Bowl.
