Last week Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones thoroughly explained why he thought Adam "Pacman" Jones did not deserve a suspension following his latest controversial incident. Upon further review, the NFL thinks otherwise.

The NFL announced Tuesday that the oft-troubled Cowboys cornerback Jones has been suspended indefinitely without pay by Commissioner Roger Goodell due to his "alcohol-related altercation" with a team bodyguard at a Dallas hotel last week.
Jones, who was suspended for the entire 2007 season due to multiple violations of the league's Personal Conduct Policy, will miss at least the next four games before Goodell determines the final length of the suspension.

According to a league press release, the decision on Jones' possible reinstatement will be pending his strict compliance to NFL and Cowboys-sponsored treatment plans plus progress reports supplied by clinical behavior experts to Goodell.
